This graph shows the results of tests performed by Virginia Power and a Dutch Utility to compare the
long-term performance of treated and untreated cable.
The dashed line shows the dielectric performance of typical pre-1990 vintage, cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) cable;
the solid line shows the performance of cable treated with CableCURE/XL. Both utilities found that performance peaks
about two years after treatment and then begins to slowly decline. Even so, using accelerated life tests that project
results twenty years into the future, the Dutch Utility found that performance remains 100% better than before the cable
was treated. Our more than 17 years of field experience confirms the accuracy of these projections.
